The #6 Utah Wheelin' Jazz defeated the #7 LA Fast Breakin' Lakers 66-47 to remain undefeated in the 2009 Desert Classic in Las Vegas, NV. The win sets up a meeting later in the evening with the #17 Rancho Renegades needing a win to advance to the Championship game on Sunday.
The Wheelin' Jazz used a balanced attack and stingy defense to jump out to an 11 point halftime lead. Midway through the first half, the Wheelin' Jazz went on a 24-5 run after trailing by as many as 8 early in the game.
