Wheelin' Jazz get PASTED by Celebrities 83-80

The Neuroworx Wheelin' Jazz got CLOBBERED by the Celebrities at the First Annual Celebrity Benefit Basketball Game. The game was held at Jordan High School. A good time was had by all and when the smoke cleared, the Celebs came away with an 83-80 victory.

The Wheelin' Jazz started off the game in the hole as the audience was able to bribe the scorekeeper to spot the Celebs a 20 point lead. The Wheelin' Jazz did their best but trailed after the first quarter, 32-19. At halftime, the Wheelin' Jazz were still behind due to continued bribes from the crowd.

At the end of the 3rd Quarter, the Wheelin' Jazz had cut the lead to 66-61 but the final bribe of the night was enough to put the Celebs over the top for the victory. In all, the bribes accounted for 50 Celebrity Points.

During the quarter breaks, the audience was entertained by Dance Impressions, a dance group from Bountiful. There were also layup, free throw, and spot shooting challenges from members of the crowd as they competed for prizes. At halftime, the NuSkin Jazz Dancers brought the crowd to life with their dance number and Taylor Vaifunua entertained with a musical number.

All in all, the night was a big success as some money was raised, the crowd was entertained, and everybody went away with a smile on their face. It was also a good night to raise awareness of people with Spinal Cord Injuries and Neuroworx, the rehab clinic that treats the patients.

Thanks to all that participated and helped behind the scenes. This was a great event and we're looking forward to doing it again.
